Our server honestly needs to be trained. We waited 15 minutes for a to go box while he took people’s orders and filled countless drinks. Then he just disappeared. The other super tall guy we could tell was so much better to his tables. Ours just looked lost. Food was great though at least!

I love Grimaldi’s! When there was an issue with my payment they gladly accommodated my group and I — plus, they curate an atmosphere that feels like home. Brian was a lovely host for us and just waiting for my food was made a memorable experience with his service. Thanks Brian, and thank you Grimaldi’s!

I rate 3 out of 5 stars for tonight. We were seated quickly for our group of 3. The table cover had previous stains and pieces of food that didn’t belong to us as we were just sitting down. The salad was great minus wanting more croutons. However, we couldn’t get our waiter to look up and see that we were trying to get his attention to ask for a few more croutons. When he finally came over to our table to refill our drinks we had already finished the salad. The pizza had a great flavor even with some parts of the crust burnt as you can see in the picture. My daughters and I will return in hopes for a clean table , more attentive waiter.

Worst dining experience I've ever had at Grimaldi's Waters Creek in Allen. My family and I were seated at 7:35 PM and immediately ordered our drinks and food. By 8:10 PM, a family of five arrived and was seated a few tables away. At 8:26 PM, they received their pizza while we were still waiting. When I asked our server about our order, he explained that there had been an issue with our pizza while it was baking and that a replacement was being made. He assured us it would be out shortly. Twenty minutes later, we still had no food. I asked another server for an update and was again told "five more minutes." I explained that we had already been told that over 20 minutes earlier and asked for an honest estimate because my 5-year-old child was hungry, restless, and tired of waiting. At that point, I overheard a black female employee with dreadlocks working the pizza station loudly say, "If he wants, he can come back here and make it himself." Hearing an employee make a comment like that about a customer was shocking and completely unprofessional. I am including this description only to help identify the employee so the matter can be properly addressed by management. After waiting

If I I could give this place 100 stars, I would! I used to live in McKinney, TX and would frequent Grimaldi's in the Watters Creek complex fairly regularly. Since moving out-of-state, I dream of returning to this restaurant fairly often. Their hot honey pizza is the best I have ever tasted, and leaves you salivating for another bite. The lemon salad is extremely refreshing. The decor really leaves you feeling as if you are in an old-style pizzeria. I'm counting down the days until I can return to Allen, Texas to this location, specifically. Their Plano location is a great secondary option, but definitely not as great as this one! Overall Rating: Food: 5.0 (in my opinion a minimum of 10 stars) Service: 5.0 Atmosphere: 4.75 (it was noisy the last time I went in, but still amazing vibes)
